sql box moved

    what happens if the physical location of a box(which had sql server 2000 on it) is chaned.

    what happens to the replication and distributed queries.

    I would think that as long as your host name remains the same and you stay within the same domain, you should be OK.  DNS will resolve the hostname to the new IP adderess.  As long as the moved server is on a network segment that can be seen by the replication server, you should be good.
