Hi Guru,
I turned on the Failure option on the audit level to capture failed login attempts on my SQL 2000 cluster server. However, the failed login attempts do not write to SQL and EVENT logs. This feature works on every non-cluster server. Is this something to do with virtual note?
Thanks so much,

There has to be something amiss. I just performed a test on one of my clusters and using a SQL authenticated user ID and a Windows Domain user account and I get the failure messages in the SQL errorlog and in the Windows Application event log for both type of logins
Have you restarted SQL Server via the cluster administrator yet ?
Caution: a failover will occur.
