We are taking log backups using Ola hallengren maintenance scripts, Backups are failing frequently, when i check in backup log it shows below error, there are 5 always on availability groups on server, I didn't understand what does this error mean and which AG group is causing this failure,
Recently there are some critical errors and warnings observed on AG dashboard, we have seen backup job failures at same times,
Still I can see errors and warnings on AG dashboard but log backup jobs are running fine, why this weird behavior?
Msg 35250, Sev 16, State 11, Line 1 : The connection to the primary replica is not active. The command cannot be processed. [SQLSTATE 42000]
Msg 3013, Sev 16, State 1, Line 1 : BACKUP LOG is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000]
Outcome: Failed Duration: 00:00:04 Date and time: 2018-05-16 12:00:12 [SQLSTATE 01000]

Are they Intermittent? Do you see any HADR Backup locks? If yes, refer this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3171896

This looks strange. Which version of SQL Server is this?
Could you send me the complete output - file and error log?
