Hi Guys..
when i am looking in history of particular Job it shows me from 03/26/2012 to 04/02/2012 and i want to see the history before 03/26/2012 . anyone has idea how i can see that?

do you have a "Clean Up History" task that runs in a Maintenance Plan?

no its not a part of Maintenance plan ..

then check the Agent properties.
the defaults for history are 1000 rows or 100 per job.

its changed from default to 15000 rows...

well, whatever it is, apparently it is not enough.
to the original question though, you cannot see history that is not there.
the SQL Agent job history either gets wiped out with a Maintenance Plan that uses the Clean Up History task or from the SQL Agent properites page under History.
If you want to look at job history for a longer period of time, un check the Limit size of job history log and then check Remove agent history box. choose a time frame you feel is long enough.
