SQL Agent Job Failed but all Backups succeeded

    HI Everyone..

    My SQL agent job history shows that Backup job is fail but when i check all backups in folder they have current date and time .

    Also i checked with Restore Verify command and shows me all valid.

    Any idea why it shows fail?

    Running on SQL Server 2008R2

    Backup job takes backup of all user databases.

    Have you checked the details for the step that failed? That's your best bet for figuring out why. If there's too much info in there to display the whole output you may not be able to see the exact error in which case you'll need to look at the output file if one is configured.

    I just handled an issue where the backup failed because full text was off but a catalog existed. The DB backup itself was fine though.

    Checked logs and sqlagent file too..

    in error log says all backups proceed successfully.
