Hi,
SQL server agent does not autostart when i reboot the server.
Autostart check box is checked.
i get follwoing error in sql logs...
2009-07-02 14:14:54 - ! [298] SQLServer Error: 1265, Cannot generate SSPI context [SQLSTATE HY000]
2009-07-02 14:14:54 - ! [000] Unable to connect to server '(local)'; SQLServerAgent cannot start
2009-07-02 14:14:55 - ? [098] SQLServerAgent terminated (normally)
SQL server 2000 running on windows 2003. Machine is PDC.
Windows log shows follwoing error...

i feel this error has conncection with the problem of server agent....
can anyone hlep in this matter???

who will look after the SPN issue? DB admin or MCSE?

Can be either one, but typically it's an admin that has rights to do this, not necessarily the DBA.
MCSE isn't a job, it's a certification, by the way.

yes i kno mcse is certification...
so it is job of system engineer who has administrator rights
