Hi..
while applying the service pack 3 Notification services got failed.Please let me know how to rollback the service pack.

Which server it is ? any details from error log ?
I pray that should not be production server, as far as i think we can roll back SP3 by removing it from ADD REMOVE programs.
have you restarted the Sql server?

Sorry i just saw there is no option i ADD REMOVE programs.

Yes Yes there is no such a option in the list. They are telling its not possible since system tables had been updated while applying the service pack.
One more thing the sql agent error message is coming still.

Did the resource databse ever get updated?
SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('ResourceVersion');
select @@version
Both versions should be identical.
