How can I manage remotely SQL Agent 2005?
The sql server management studio express didn't manage it.

I want to manage the jobs, exactly how I did with sql 2000 (enterprese management), but with
sql server managemnt studio express I can't manage the sql agent. I need to use TS to manage the jobs.

To manage jobs in 2005 go SMS and login and their we can find the sql server agent -> double click on that you can find their option like job
just rt clk and new job u can create.
next is job activity monitor to see all the jobs.
Any doubts let me know.:)

SQL Server Management Studio, is what you should be using to manage your SQL Server 2005 instance.
SQL Server Enterprise Manager (SQL 2000) will not work over SQL Server 2005 Databases.

You can get all the features in SSMS. Connect to SSMS and expand sqlagent to work with it. If Sqlagent is not listed in SSMS then you may be lacking privileges in msdb. Add your ID to SQLAgentOperator Role, this will do it.[/font]
