I can't believe that I'm asking this question...
We have an old SQL 6.5 database in a remote office that needs to be relocated to our central office. The idea is that as soon as it's restored - I'm going to work on converting it to SQL 2000 SP4. The first hurdle is just getting 6.5 installed on one of my target development SQL servers.
Question: is it possible to install SQL 6.5 on a Windows 2000 machine???
So far I haven't had much success. I downloaded SQL 6.5 from MSDN Universal and tried to follow along with the installation but it keeps dying with:

there are known bugs with running 6.5 on windows 2000.
