Are there any issues with running sql server 6.5 on windows 2003?

It's not supported in the slightest, as for getting it to work, possibly.
Why would you run 6.5 on 2003?

You can get it to run on 2003 I had to do it to retrieve info from a very old database but i wouldn't advise running it for real.
I'd upgrade to sql server 2000 just now while there is still a realatively simple upgrade path.

What about running SQL Server 7 on Windows 2003? IS this supported and/or possible?

Again the question, why? v2k will run in v65 or v7 compatability mode. The W2K3 kernel is substantially different, so there may be issues. W2K was a big change from NT4, which was a smaller change than NT3.51. I wouldn't recommend it for support reasons.

We run a 3rd party app that will guarantee support to there product if we upgrade to SQL Server 2000. We run other apps on the same server that would benefit from Windows 2003.
