Starting to become quite flustered now.
Installed 2k5 Workgroup some time back. Needed to upgrade to Standard. So off I went. It didn't work. So I uninstalled what was left.
Reinstall went great. Until I run the surface area configuration tool, at which point I get an error. It seems to think either(or all of) - localhost doesnt exist, its not accepting connections, WMI components not installed or perhaps access denied. In a useful error window that I can't copy and paste from (cheers ms).
Anyhow. SP1 and 2 don't seem to recognise the database/reporting services and appear to only apply to the tools.
Sorry about the vagueness. Will try and grab a screeny of the error.
Any help much appreciated.
