Hi All,
I have recently upgraded my DEV environment from SQL 2008 SP4 to SQL 2012 SP2 and all went good. Now the issue at hand is that when i run a query and copy the results with header the columns are shifted/misaligned but the same query on sql 2008 copy with headers with no issue when pasting to excel.
The Query options are the same in settings between 2008 & 2012. Is this a bug or something I'm not aware or how to fix
Thanks
It's better to fail while trying, rather than fail without trying!!!

First thought is that there may be a TAB character in one of the columns, that would shift the results

Microsoft stated I should use my old SSMS 2008 as there's no solution or just update the SSMS with 2014SSMS but introduces other errors
SSMS 2008 works fine
