Hi All
While browsing for a few training courses I'm wishing to attend I found this on QA.com
http://www.qa.com/media/3046986/microsoft_sql_server_2012_certification_and_course_roadmap.pdf
Its the none finalised version of the certification paths to give you a bit of an idea as to how MS certs are going to work for 2012.
One thing I noticed is there is now a pre-req to get MCTS which is 70-461 TS: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 before you can do TS in Admin or Development, and there is now two exams to get TS in BI.
Not found any upgrade paths as yet but if I do I will repost a link.

The link cannot be opened; but there is another link - http://www.qa.com/media/3046986/microsoft_sql_server_2012.pdf , I hope it contains the same info.
As I see, there is two strange things:
- MCITP (Database Devolper) seems to be moved into MCPD.
- there is no information about upgrading path from existing MCITP certifications.
I hope we will see more information about it soon.

The exams are scheduled to be available in June; more information is here.
I found this interesting:
To achieve a Professional-level SQL Server 2012 certification you must successfully pass five exams.
The 'Data Platform' exams are:
70-461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012
70-462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases
70-463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012
70-464: Developing Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases
70-465: Designing Database Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server 2012
The Business Intelligence exams are:
70-461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012
70-462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases
70-463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012
70-466: Implementing Data Models and Reports with Microsoft SQL Server 2012
70-467: Designing Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2012
Finally:
...to upgrade from a Professional-level SQL Server 2008 certification to a Professional-level SQL Server 2012 certification, you must successfully pass three exams, rather than five. More information will be provided on upgrade paths in mid-April.
Can't wait to get the Developer's Edition!
