Greetings forum,
quick question about restoring a single table in SQL 2008.
Does anyone know if restoring a single table from a backup file will also restore the associated indexes/keys?
Appreciate any experience anyone can share.
Regards,
Reuben.

You cannot restore a single table.
You will need to restore to another db/server and copy the one table across.

That is what I thought, thanks for the prompt response!

Quest SQL LiteSpeed can, but that does you know good in this instance. You would need a LiteSpeed backup in order to do an object-level restore.
I only mention this product for future consideration as it indeed makes the life of a DBA somewhat easier. 😉
As for what you can do here, the previous poster has the right of it.
