SQL 2008 INSTALLATION

    Hi,

    Do we need to check all the features at starting of the fresh installation itself or else we can install ssas at later stage?

    Meaning, starting i will install sql server database engine

    and if i want to install ssas & ssrs at later stage.

    Can we do that? i.e depending on the requirement i will be installing the required component.

    Please let me know you suggestions.

    Yes,SSAS and SSRS can be installed latter also.

    The only difference in SSRS is ReportServer and ReportServerTempdb needs to be created using SSRS configuration manger.But the ReportServer,ReportServerTempdb will be created in first installtion itself.
