Sql 2008 developer - media

    Hi,

    Firstly I'm *not* looking for a free copy... I bought the dev edition about six months

    ago and need to re-install. I have my licence key but no media, can anyone tell

    me where I can download the media from?

    All the MS links seem to be dead or send you to sql 2012.

    Incidentally, anyone know if there's an upgrade path path to sql 2012 dev?

    You can download the Evaluation Edition of SQL Server 2008 R2 from here. I'm pretty sure you can upgrade the Eval Edition to Developer, so your license key might work.

    I don't know how you can get SQL Server 2008. Maybe call Microsoft?

    I think you can upgrade to 2012, but I'm not 100% sure.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info. I tried that but it does not seem to like my licence key so I will have to speak with Microsoft directly.
