SQL 2005 Standard processor limit

  We are setting up a SQL 2005 2-node cluster with the Standard edition and am a bit confused on the processor requirement. There is a 4 processor limit for the standard edition and I am told that we have 2-quad core CPUs and SQL Server sees 8 processors. Will we have issues or is this ok?

  you should be fine. SQL only counts the physical processors and not how many cores you have.
