SQL 2005 service stopped

    I am working on MSSQL 2005, I have noticed that SQL Service is stopped, nothing is updated no patch is installed, I tried a lot to run this service but nothing happened. Service is still in stopped mode, please help it is very urgent I cannt keep my server in this non-functional mode, plz help.

    Look at the SQL Server Error Log and find what is reported in that, post it here, until which it is blind guessing. There can be any reason due to which it is failing.

    SQL Error Logs are found in the MSSQL\LOG DIrectory of installation path of the Instance.
