We're setting an hour maintenance window for our 300G database for tomorrow evening. Should that be enough time to apply Service Pack 2?
Just wanting to gauge everyone's experiences with this; is it just as easy as stopping the SQL Agent, applying SP2, then restarting the Agent? No full reboot of the server itself?
Thanks everyone!

You need to restart sql server services. Also it would be good if you reboot the server so that it takes effect at that moment itself.

Works best if you shutdown all services (sql server, agent, browser, fulltext, etc.), then apply to avoid a reboot. Personally I still prefer to reboot the server after applying for safe practice.
Depends on the speed of your server really. I've spent 10 minutes on a service pack, and I've spent over an hour ...

A bit late, but be sure you research the issues from SP2, especially with maintenance plans. You might want to prep CU2 or 3 as well.
