I recently stated studying/working, all the changes to SQL 2005, by far a vast improvement. But with any new product, unexplained errors occur, this one deals with Restore DB. After I add the Restore file in the dialog, I immediately get a message: Error:3205 - too many backup devices defined, max 64 available. Research Books-online, nothing, so hopefully someone knows why?

I always get this message in 2000 when I do a restore and add the file but don't pay attention that in the device list there is already one present by default in the Select the Backup Set To Restore grid. So we want to remove the default one first then add your file.

Thanks for the information, but this error is in Sql 2005, and after research it appears to be a bug, fixed in another build of the product.
