SQL 2005 optimizer

    Hi all,

    I just moved a few of my databases from 2000 to 2005. Other than changing the databases to be compatible to SQL 2005, what do I need to do to help the SQL 2005 optimizer? I had read somewhere that I need to run a command or something. Thanks in advance for your help.

    1. update stats

    2. execute DBCC UPDATEUSAGE

    3. if any repopulate full text catalogs
