SQL 2005 Installation

    I have installed SQL 2005 but to E:\SQLServer2005 as opposed to the default installation path C:\Program Files etc. However, it still seems to have put files onto C:\? Is there a way around this as I want to keep C:\ for the OS only.

    Check the installation once again ...hope u have Installed in C drive only...

    i inherited a server like this

    bad idea and you are asking for trouble

    i've found it's a lot less agita to just have huge c drives and put OS and all apps on it
