sql 2005 file recovery

    i coded a long SP in a new query editor window.. but closed it ( and pressed 'No' when it asked 'do you want to save'.

    Is there any way to recover it..

    i have seen some '~v3425.sql' etc when management studio (SSMS) crashed

    where are these tmp files stored ?

    I am not sure where the temp files are stored but a search for *.sql over the entire computer will return all sql extensions and you can sort the list by date to see if your file is there. But remember, you closed it... it did not crash so it is probably not there.
