Is it possible to install SQL Server 2000 and SQL server 2005 on same machine and both working?

Just make sure you install SQL 2000 first, and SQL 2005 last.

I have them both on my development machine and they play quite happily together, but as Ian has said I'd make sure 2000 went on there first.

One last thing to add we ran into some problems if SP3 or above was not installed on the SQL2000 Instance.....

I'll install both on the same machine, SQL Server 2000 is always SP4.
