SQL 2005 agent dose not starts automaticly after Win server reboot

  Hi

  I have a problem with SQL 2005 agent which dose not starts automatically after Windows server reboot.

  What it makes the problem more difficult is that I can not change to local system mode as the User who would run the agent should have access to network resource.

  By giving the password manually (Services, SQLagent) starts the agent as it should grrrrr.

  Some one can tell me Why?

  Hi,

  Pls check the file SQLAgent.Out located @ Log folder at the time of sqlagent service startup failure (i.e after reboot)

  Try changing the startup service account via SQL server configuratin manager.

  Are you changing domain password in a frequency of time? and what is the system reboot frequency??
