Hello all,
I've just been asked if we can get a SQL 2000 database to replicate (publish/subscribe stylie) to a SQL 2005 version of the same database. All I would like to know please if whether this is feasible, and if so are there any tips for young players?
Thanks in advance

Yep it is, you just won't be able to connect to 2005 through EM. Make sure you have set up linked servers first, we had some security issues so had to hardcode the SA password onto the linked server, it may well be possible to use Windows authentication. Set up the publication on the 2000 box and then set up the subscription on 2005.
Some good info here: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=291&messageid=272472

We're doing this. Using transactional repl, pull subscription, distributor on the publisher. I think we were driven to this model by the various constraints of 2000->2005 repl, but it's a good model.
