sql 2000 sp4 - I thought this was fixed

    Hi,

    Recently I've been getting the error re: memory could not be "read" when using the DTS Import/Export wizard. I'm opening the wizard and when I try to select the server source from the drop down, this mmc.exe error is generated. I read on microsoft that this was supposed to be fixed in sp4 and was a known issue in sp3, but we are already at sp4!

    Any help/ideas would be appreciated!

    Check your file version of the DTS Task UI Provider

    (dtsui.dll ) SP4 version = '2000.80.801.0'

    make sure you don't have multiple versions in your path... DTS is COM+ based and cannot deal with side-by-side execution of dll versions.
