SQL 2000 no job history on Purge jobs

    In SQL 2000, Purge jobs shows "no information history" message appears when I try to "view job history" for any purge jobs.

    Other jobs shows steps, only the purge jobs don't. Jobs did complete successfully.

    Is this normal in sql 2000?

    Is this "purge job" is something you authored?

    I've had a lot of trouble on busy servers trying to get SQL Server to store enough history to be useful. Frequently-running jobs forced the history on other jobs to roll off.

    Have you tried increasing the size of the logs allocated?

    Yes, this purge was authored.

    No, I have not tried to increase log size. But will do so.
