Hi,
PC OS - windows XP editon
I tried install SQL 2000 personal edition on desktop pc system, It is failed.

How many processor cores do you have on that machine? I recall that there can be problems installing older versions of SQL server on machines that have a number of CPU cores that aren't a power of 2 (e.g. 3, 6 or 12 core machines would exhibit the problem, 2, 4 or 8 wouldn't).
