SQL 2000 - how many licenses are installed?

    Hello

    We have a sql based app which is used by few users <10

    anyways, I was asked how many licenses we have and have no idea how to answer that - i don't know sql much.

    running the serverproperty queries return 'disabled' or 'null'

    the version is 8.00.2039 which is 'standard' edition.

    Can someone please give me a definite answer?

    I looked at registry but could not find the '80' in my entries

    SQL CALs are not really installed, so there is no technical way to get that info.

    You probably need to look back through software purchase orders to find that info.

    can you tell me if my version would come with a few licenses thrown in automatically?
