SQL 2000 Entreprise Manager

    We have just finished setting up an instance SQL 2005 Express on a new server we plan to introduce into our network at a remote location. Should I be able to register the SQL 2005 Express instance within SQL 2000 Enterprise manager, as we need to enable replication between the 2 servers?

    I do not believe you can register it thru EM. Although I can't say I have actually tried to see if could be done. Haven't done anything with replication from SQL 2000 to 2005 but you might be able to register like any other non-SQL Server destination (like how you do Oracle), but that may not work either.
