Hi
I need to uninstall the sql 2000 ee in win 2003 clustered environment. I did the below steps and it failed in the middle.
1. Logged into Node A.
2. Took the SQL Dependencies resource (one of the drive - systemdb files exists) to offline in Clustered Administrator.
3. Ran the SQL Setup & Chose the Uninstall or Remove or upgrade option.
4. It failed after sometime.
5. There are no sql resources exists in the clustered administrator.
6. I am stll seeing the Data Folder & other folders, registery entries on both the server.
Can someone explain how to remove the SQL Completely from both Node A & Node B?
Thanks In Advance....

The uninstall, AFAIK, doesn't remove data files or things in the registry that might be used if you reinstalled. If it's not in the Control Panel or Cluster Adminsitrator, delete the folders and reg keys for SQL Serve.r

Hi
Thanks for you qick response.
"Microsoft SQL Server (instance name)" exists in control panel on Node A and nothing there in Node B. I don't see anything related SQL resources in the Cluster Adminstrator.
Can you please tell me how to remove from Control panel on Node A? Also the reg keys need to be removed from registery..
Thanks
Shuaib
