Split Backup

    Can anyone tell me on how to perform Split backup and Restore in sql2005

    Split backup would mean where the size of the db to be backedup is high and you have 3 different vol drive where you can place them .

    That's referred to as striping the backup.

    Check out the backup database command in Books Online. If you specify multiple destinations, the backup is striped across them. Restore works the same way.
