HI. I was installing the client tools for sql server 2000 on a backup dba's desktop and nowhere does it allow you to install on another drive other than C. Is there a reason why it works this way and can you somehow specify another drive to install on?
Thanks,
Juanita

Did you choose typcial or custom install? I believe you can only specify in custom install.

With the standard addition it does not give us the choice to specify the location.with the personal addition if you are trying to install than it will give the choice to specify the drive.
