Specific Database Tuning

  • Hello

Anytime i use sql server profiler in 2005, it monitors my master and report server, and all i want to do is to monitor a particular db.

what do i need to do?, do i need to put the "db%"?

  • You can filter on the Database ID column and exclude the ids of databases that you don't want to see.

Better to filter on ID than name, as not all events pass the DB name.
