Hi All,
Can somebody let me know when do you get Command=NOP in sp_who2.
I have seen Insert, Update, Delete etc but have never seen NOP and it seems today was the day when I had to come across this.
Please let me know how to resolve the problem.

I think it means "no operation was performed".

Hi,
Is there any way we can check which process led to the NOP command.
In my scenario this happened when there was no activity on the DB Box.

I also getting this when I'm calling an .sql file thru SQLCMD, that particular SPID shows NOP some time and INSERT as well after. Im getting exact clue on this.
Experience tips may help.
