I can manually sp_send_dbmail logged in as a domain admin & obviously sa, but if I attempt to do so from any other user login I receive "The Execute Permission was denied"
Do I have to add MSDB & DatabaseMailUserRole to every login ?
I am not making the connection or perhaps my dbmail settings are wrong....
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanx!

From BOL (bolding added):
To send Database Mail, you must be a member of the DatabaseMailUserRole database role in the msdb database.
Profile security. Database Mail enforces security for mail profiles. You choose the msdb database users or groups that have access to a Database Mail profile. You can grant access to either specific users, or all users in msdb. A private profile restricts access to a specified list of users. A public profile is available to all users in a database.

Thanx Jack! A little slow yesterday & finally thought to profile to see 'who' was executing the command & found it was the odbc driver user that is used to connect to the ERP database needed to be added to MSDS. All is well....
