I am in need of some help.i need to rename a replicated table columns.will this affect my current replication (Transactional replication)? Do i have to create a new snapshot and restart the subscriber?
Well the newer replication should support schema changes.
A safer bet is to remove the table from replication publication, make your changes, add the table to the publication, run the snapshot agent and then run the distribution agent.
