SP3 memory error

  HELP: Since installing SP3 I get an error..'The instruction at "0x780011cd" referenced memory at "0x0337f356". The memory could not be read. It only seems to happen when trying to export data to another sql server database and when you try to select the destination server fromthe drop-down box..It does not happen when I try to select the local database just another sql server location..I am getting no joy from Microsoft..anybody any answers or clues as to how I can find out whats going on

  I get those memory messages every now & then (different #s each time) .... I think it has to do with my PC, not the server
