When I applied SP2 and hot fixes seemed everything went fine (got no error messages)
But when I do select @@version I dont see any mention of SP2..how can I be sure everything is OK?
Thanks

You should see a 8.00.532 (or something greater with the hot fixes) for the version information that comes out with the select @@version.
I am assuming that this is for SQL 2K (if 7.0 then it would be 7.00.842).
Hope this helps.

8.00.608 is the latest publicly available security rollup for SQL 2000 SP2.
