SP2 for SQL Server 2008R2

    I see Service pack 2 is latest for 2008R2, can i update my box with SP2, my question is that the service pack is still stated as CTP.

    Let me know ur feedback experts

    You can, if you want the risk of running a pre-release (beta testing stage essentially) on your production server.

    Basically, if you want to do MS's testing on your production server, then apply the patch now. Otherwise wait until it's released.

    Thanks for the reply.I just want to be updated on service packs on dev boxes. So, i am holding on it now.
