SP Performance Difference

    I know this is going down a different track than others are taking you and I am not as skilled at performance tuning as others who have responded; but it is worth asking...when you updated your statisics after your upgrade did you use the 'with fullscan' option? 

    This is a recommended practice when upgrading and I thought there may be a slight possibility this could account for some of the unexpected results.

    Hi Bob,

    A valid point, but yes I did.  I'll be re-running this tonight now we've been in production for a few days, but don't expect much improvement as we've changed around 20 of the most intensive SP's today and the server is running like a dream now!

    Mark, glad you have it worked out!

    I have read about a number of people having the 'it is slower than it was' problems after upgrading so I know you aren't the first to have worked through this.
