Hello all,
we have 3 server with sql server 2005, two in failover Cluster and one development.
when we installed sp3, it's ok in development server , but the server in cluster are producing many errors, for example, when we try to export a table from production to development or when execute a daily maintenance.
i read this "Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3" from Microsoft support .
Does this fixed the problems generated by SP3?

I think it would really help if you let us know what problems you get.
Do you have problems installing SP3 on the cluster or are you talking about problems after succesfully installing SP3?

Hi,
for example , when i try to export a table from server cluster to development server produces this error:"Failed to acquire connection "DestionationConnection". Connection may not be configured correctly or you may not have permissions on this connection".
and other error: "The connection manager "DestionationConnection" will not acquire a connection because the package OfflineMode property is TRUE. When the OfflineMode is TRUE, connections cannot be acquired".
but it's really funny, because we have not made any change after the installation SP3.

Looks like CU1 fixes your problem.

we have applied the CU1. now, it seems ok, but the log file displays this error:
"Product Installation Status
Product : SQL Server Database Services 2005 (MSSQLSERVER)
Product Version (Previous): 4035
Product Version (Final) :
Status : Error
Log File :
Error Number : 11009
Error Description : Unable to revise any passive node"
does this error affect the well working of server?

I'm not sure, but it looks like the passive node has not been updated. You might have to install CU1 on the passive node manually.
I have not installed that update on a cluster yet, so I don't know for sure.

that means the CU1 update failed, check the log summary located C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\
