    how will you transfer login information from one server to another server , including password..and

    How can i rebuild master database without loosing my old datas?

    and finally how do you do heterogenous linked server?

    See this article for tried and true methods of transferring logins: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246133/en-us  I've used the sp_help_revlogin described many times.

    There's a Rebuild Master utility in SQL 2000.  Rebuilding master removes database objects and data so try restoring a good backup instead.  If you feel you need to rebuild, script database objects and copy data before rebuilding.

    I'm not sure how to answer your linked server question as my experience with them is limited.
