Solid State Storage is here as a feasible solution?

    I was reading something the other day about using a Ram Disk for tempdb, or at least the first 1GB in the RAM disk. I had this working with 500MB on a Sybase ASE install in 1999 with 2GB on disk, as long as the work in tempdb was under 500MB it ran lightning fast..
