Software Engineer / DBA
Data Migration > SQL/Oracle Project
Location : Mid West- Full-time or Contract - Hire
Salary : Open Rate!, signing bonus
Description of work to be performed: project using SQL or Oracle. Build or
facilitate the build of a web tool for project tracking. Aggregate several
tools into one web front end to provide a single source for Project
Managers. Participate in the review of several tools for project management
to determine which tool to support the project management methodology.
Technical skills, skill level, & qualifications: Seeking a "dba"-type
engineer that
is knowledgeable in conversion of Excel and Word data to SQL and/or Oracle.
Candidate should have Access database skills migrating from Excel to Access
to SQL. Extensive experience in databases, including table structures and
logical data models, as well as experience in User Interface design. Web
development experience is preferred. Strong requirements gathering and
managing skills necessary.
Description of Deliverable (s): Continue the build out database projects.
Participate as a member of a project team to refine tables and data
structure to support additional functionality. Participate in requirements
gathering for a project management methodology and tool for project
managers. Build or facilitate the build of a web front-end for view/use of
data.
