I try to open the Analysis Services. When I click on the Analysis Manager, I got an error message "Snap-in failed to intialilize. Name:<unknown> CLSID:{446FC34F-C885-11D0-AB9D-00C04FC30999}".
This may cause the next problem. When we want to create a SharePoint Configuration database, the SQL Server database name is entered and Use Windows authentication option is selected. When we clicked the OK button, the following error message is displayed: Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. (Error code 18452).
Could anyone give me some help ? Thanks.

I'm sure the person that posted the original message has long since sorted the issue (or else moved away from IT!), but i had the same problem today.
I managed to sort the issue by creating a new App Pool (under IIS Manager) to run under a Domain Admin a/c (the same as the user that has access to SQL Server).
I then removed and re-installed SharePoint (due to errors) and then chose the App Pool that I created. It then allowed me to create the config and content db's on the second server.
Hope this is useful to anyone else that encounters the issue
