Never really had the pressing need....
I've been meaning to learn more about the SMO scripting objects, just never really had the chance...

Ah, it's a poor question. I've been working with the Scripter object and using it, so I was thinking along those lines. I should have used a poorer alternative answer.
Points awarded back and the alternative changed.

An interesting question with a brief and austere explanation. I was glad to find a good explanation on this msdn blog: SMO Scripting Basics and then in MS Docs Scripting.
And I've forgotten Stairway to Server Management Objects (SMO).
