SLQ cluster not quick available after failover

  Hi

  A customer runs a sql cluster active/passive, the db size 450GB. After failover the target db is for more than one hour not available, stays in recovery. Another db on the same instance with 80GB is right away online. What could be the reason?

  It could be related to having too many VLFs in the log file. See the article below and the related articles in the "Resolution" section.
