I'm using Datastage , SQL 2000 (source and target).
Have created multiple jobs that will load a table. total no of table loaded are 392. Overall data transformation is 560gb daily. im using user defined query to extract data from the sources.
Its taking almost half more time...
can anybody help me how to improve this performance issue in DS???

If you have a slow query that you've already identified as the point of pain, take a look at the execution plan for that query. That's going to tell you the most about what the query is doing. Without that information and all the stuff listed above, there's really little we can do to help out.
